GLen Beane is a member of the Computational Sciences Department at The Jackson Laboratory and provides software engineering support to the Kumar Lab. Glen has developed software for the JAX Animal Behavior System (JABS) including software for video acquisition, remote monitoring, and control; video annotation and training behavior classifiers; and a cloud-based mouse pose estimation pipeline. In his spare time, Glen enjoys hiking, travelling, and is a volunteer with the MDI Search and Rescue team.

Glen left the lab in Spring of 2022 and is currently working for an AI-self driving car company in Boston called Perceptive Automata.
