Jaycee is a graduate student who received her undergraduate degree in Biological Science from La Sierra University in 2021. She is currently interested in learning about the feeding behaviors of mice through the use of machine learning and computational work. Her undergraduate research focused on an analysis of the polymorphic SINE insertions that are present in the dog genome, and the SINEs importing polyadenylation signals into 3’UTRs. On the weekends, you can find Jaycee on hikes, playing video games, exploring the island, or writing poems.
