Timothy Leach joined the Kumar Lab as a research assistant in April 2025 on April Fools’ Day, no less. With nearly 20 years of hands-on experience at The Jackson Laboratory, he brings a deep well of practical knowledge and technical skill to the team. Though he didn’t follow a traditional academic path, his expertise has been shaped by decades of immersive, hands-on experience. Outside the lab, he enjoys going to summer concerts, spending time with family, and writing.
