Hey, I’m Cayson! I’m from Highland, Utah. I’m attending Brigham Young University in Utah and I’m the summer student in the Kumar Lab! I’m majoring in Computer Science with an emphasis in Bioinformatics, as well as minoring in Physics and Math. Here in the Kumar Lab I’m working to develop a machine learning classifier that can automatically annotate feeding behavior from video data which can provide means for further analysis of behavioral patterns. Outside of the professional setting, I’m an athlete who enjoys playing almost all sports, with my current focus being Ironman triathlons. I also enjoy playing guitar and the occasional dad joke or pun.
