Madison is a data analyst who joined the lab in September 2023. She finished her M.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2023 under Dr. Andre Khalil at the University of Maine, Orono. While at UMaine she worked on identification of cancerous mammograms through mathematical techniques and image analysis. Madison is excited to join Kumar Lab and explore how to describe and quantify the relationship between pharmacology, behavior, and genetics.
Outside the lab, she enjoys DnD, knitting, and cooking. She is especially looking forward to travelling the many bike trails MDI has to offer come summer time and exploring the interaction of light and color in Maine’s landscape through watercolor and gauche painting.
