Ori Goldberg

Research Assistant

Ori joined the lab as a Research Assistant in January of 2024, shortly after finishing her bachelors at the University of Maine at Orono. While at UMaine, they studied Physics and Botany, and spent their last two years at the university contributing to Molecular Biophysics research under Dr. Samuel Hess. In science, Ori gets really excited about novel microscopy techniques, science communication and outreach, and contributing to problem solving in public health. She’s very excited to work with the Kumar Lab team to help gain new insights on potential targets for addiction treatment. Outside of the lab, she can be found cooking for her friends, playing guitar, making jewelry, and gardening.
